Virat Kohli Set to Break Sachin Tendulkar's Test Record Against Bangladesh

India's batting maestro Virat Kohli is poised to etch his name in the annals of cricket history as he stands on the cusp of breaking Sachin Tendulkar's long-standing record for most Test runs against Bangladesh.

With the two-match Test series against Bangladesh set to commence on December 14, Kohli needs just 26 runs to surpass Tendulkar's tally of 681 runs against the Tigers. The former India captain boasts an impressive average of 97.28 against Bangladesh, having amassed 655 runs in 11 innings, including two centuries and four half-centuries.

Kohli's dominance against Bangladesh was evident in the one-off Test in Hyderabad in 2017, where he hammered an unbeaten 204, guiding India to a comprehensive innings victory. Former India opener Gautam Gambhir, who shared the dressing room with Kohli, believes the right-hander is capable of breaking any record in the sport.

"Virat Kohli is a phenomenal player, and he has the ability to break any record in the book. He is a modern-day great, and I am confident that he will break Sachin's record against Bangladesh," said Gambhir.

Kohli's quest to break Tendulkar's record has been a long and arduous journey. He has consistently performed at the highest level, amassing over 8,000 Test runs with an average of over 50. His ability to adapt to different conditions and score runs against all types of bowling attacks has set him apart from his peers.

If Kohli manages to break Tendulkar's record, it will be a testament to his exceptional talent and unwavering determination. The achievement will further cement his status as one of the greatest batsmen to have graced the game.
