Breel Embolo Returns to Switzerland Squad for Euro 2024 Qualifiers

Embolo, who hasn't played for Switzerland since the 2022 World Cup, has been recalled by new coach Murat Yakin.

The striker, who plays his club football for Borussia Mönchengladbach, is expected to play a key role in Switzerland's Euro 2024 campaign.

Embolo was left out of Switzerland's squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, but has been recalled by new coach Murat Yakin for the upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers.

The striker, who has scored 12 goals in 58 appearances for Switzerland, is expected to play a key role in the team's Euro 2024 campaign.

Switzerland have been drawn in Group A for the Euro 2024 qualifiers, and will face Portugal, Serbia, Norway, and Israel.

The Swiss will be looking to qualify for their sixth consecutive European Championship finals.
