The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has emerged victorious in the Bharatpur Assembly constituency in the Rajasthan Assembly elections 2023. The counting of votes was held on Sunday, and the BJP has secured 6 seats in the region, while the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLD) has won 1 seat.
In the Kathumar segment, BJP candidate Nand Kishore Gurjar defeated his Congress rival Brijendra Singh by a margin of 25,732 votes. The Kaman Nagar seat was won by BJP's Zahida Khan, who defeated Congress's Virendra Singh by a comfortable 18,566 votes.
Deeg-Kumher also saw a BJP victory, with Vishvendra Singh defeating Congress's Vishwanath Singh by a margin of 14,452 votes. The Nadbai seat was won by BJP's Mahesh Sharma, who defeated Congress's Subhash Garg by 12,872 votes.
The lone seat won by the RLD was Bayana, where RLD candidate Bihari Lal defeated BJP's Sanjay Kasana by a narrow margin of 4,523 votes.
